About Adv. Anirban Biswas

Adv. Anirban Biswas is a Barasat-based advocate, community worker and Area President of Barasat Mandal 3. Anirban Biswas practises at the Barasat district courts and the Calcutta High Court, and has spent years in neighbourhood programmes: welfare camps, cultural evenings, tree drives and day-to-day help when someone calls.

Roots & early years

Raised in Barasat, he began in grassroots organisational work — including time as an RSS volunteer — learning discipline, neighbourhood contact and public service on the ground. That foundation shaped the way he still works: showing up locally, listening first, following up.

Law & public service

Adv. Anirban Biswas practises as an advocate in Barasat and Kolkata — civil, criminal and writ matters at the district courts, Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court at Barasat, and Calcutta High Court. He has also been part of BJP Legal Cell programmes in the Barasat district, connecting legal awareness with local party work.

Anirban Biswas BJP and Barasat work

Before his current mandal role, Anirban Biswas was already visible in Barasat’s BJP organisational network — griha sambad at assembly booths, booth-vijay campaigns, youth and legal-cell events, and coordination during the 2026 Assembly election when BJP won the Barasat seat. Bengali media, including Zee 24 Ghanta, quoted Adv. Anirban Biswas on local civic issues such as the Netaji Palli Road debate in Moyna.

His vision

A Barasat where streets are usable, drains work, young people get a fair chance, and anyone can reach out without running in circles — built through patience, follow-up and staying close to people.

Community & social life

Janakalyan Shivirs, Rabindra–Nazrul Moncho programmes, tree plantation drives and everyday conversations with residents — much of his public life is shared on Facebook and in local gatherings. The photos and clips on this site come from that real activity.
